I was really bored at work in the office today (phones were dead for some odd reason) so I went on the internet (when my boss wasn’t looking) and read some of the limousine blogs by other drivers and office receptionists. Hmm, sounds pretty deep. Deep as a well, ha-ha :-). Well I’ve since I’ve been driving parttime and working as a receptionist for approximately 8 years in the limousine industry, I have to say that my favourite and THE most reliable company I have ever worked at and heard about would have to be….
Classic Limousine of Vancouver! Now you may say that I am biased, but I’m just giving my honest opinion. I’ve worked for at least 7 different companies and I have to admit that the other managers, chauffeurs, owners, and coworkers that I have dealed with were not, let’s just say, the nicest people I have ever met. Now I know that it can be really stressful dealing with customers on the phone or when the phones go crazy, but seriously, I get yelled at really often (pretty much everytime I go in the office) by managers and owners when I have done nothing wrong (well a few times I have, but the other times I get yelled at I’ve done nothing) because they are just so stressed out! When I almost gave up hope after moving from one company to the other, I went to Classic Limousine for a job as a chauffeur in 2005 (it was my final hope) and they gave me an interview… and a call within 2 days! Ever since that day, I have been working at Classic Limousine… sometimes as a driver, sometimes as a receptionist. If I thought it was a horrible company, I would have quit right when things got tough, but I honestly believe it’s the best limousine company in Vancouver

No, the company is not paying me to say these things, but I figured that helping them advertise a bit wouldn’t hurt right? Here is my totally HONEST feedback for the article above:
Do a thorough research: I just typed in “Vancouver Limousine” on the Google homepage and looked for positive reviews on the limousine companies. Wow, look at that, the company I work for as 9 reviews and the other companies have absolutely NONE! Well except “LimoLimo” but they only have one. Okay, now I will look under the office files for the NAMES of these clients and correspond them with the DRIVER’S NAMES. I see that every single entry is in fact honest, real, true… etc. and a bonus, they are ALL positive comments/reviews. Hmm, Classic Limousine is already #1 on my list!
Visit the sites of limousine rental companies: Wow! The Classic Limousine website has a lot of detail. Well look at that, it has photos of their vehicle fleet, services offered, and even other recommended sites for accomodations, etc. This is awesome.
Contact each company you’re considering: Okay, I’ve done this exactly 4 months ago for my friend’s daughter’s wedding in May. I’ve called over 10 different companies looking for the best rate (this is what everyone does) and what vehicles the companies offered. You know what my result was? I got yelled at one time, once by this man who wouldn’t give me a price because I seriously did not have ALL the pick up locations (she’s not even my daughter, why would I know?), and then I almost got scammed by this other guy, he gave me a quote, then started adding all these extra charges for moving his vehicle out of the garage. Hmmm, not very reliable. For three other companies I called, the receptionists sounded dimwitted, I had to repeat myself a fair few times which was very aggravating. Now when I pick up the phone, I have been trained to ask exactly what the client needs, where they wanna go, which day they want it for and I give them the exact price that includes the tax and tip. 10/10 for Classic Limousine again!
Also, ask how much the rate is for every hour and the hidden charges: Yeah, guess what everyone? Classic Limousine DOES NOT charge extra for red carpet, wedding JUST MARRIED hearts, champagne glasses, and ice. They are all completely FREE.
So overall, Classic Limousine is THE limousine company of Vancouver. Need I say more?
